I have been blessed by membership in Arizona Community Church for several years. The blessings I have received from my small group and Sunday School class are too numerous to count.
I have been involved in the employment business for 24 years and ran an employment service in Tempe almost 14 years. Now I am engaged in professional search and contract employment.
I have been at a stage in my life when I was unemployed and I have helped thousands of people find meaningful work through my professionn.
I would like to take what I have learned and use it to help give support to people who are going through this now. When I was going through it, I didn't have the assurance of knowing my loving God was walking beside me. I want anyone going through this now to feel that assurance.

Thank you to panel

Our employer panel was terrific on Wednesday night. I so appreciate their willingness to give their personal time to our group. The panel consisted of Debbie Staats, HR Manager at Amcor Sunclipse NA; Marian Cotten, HR Manager at Avnet; and Chris Aulerich of Brady-Aulerich & Associates.
The panelists talked about the traits their companies look for in candidates, how to dress, how to present oneself, what not to do. They also gave advice about resumes and handling difficult questions.

Thanks. I did come to campus a few weeks ago, but it was the Wednesday that you didn't meet because of illness. Then I was out of town & this week my husband & I are going to the Ravi Zacharias presentation/forum @ ASU. Just a little history on me. I worked at Bethany Community Church for almost 19 years (2 different "stints") & lost my job mid-Sept. I served as the receptionist & then as campus scheduling coordinator for events, meetings, etc. for all ministries. Before that, I was a teacher (both full time & sub; in IL & TX). I'm trying to get a resume written, which I obviously haven't done in a long time, and learn how to find available positions (preferably part-time or maybe work from home). I thought a Christian based group would be a good place for me to start.

Thank you Judy. I was unable to attend last week's meeting but should be able to attend tonight. I will be about a half hour late however. I hope that doesn't create any issues. Holly

Hi Judy, my name is Robert Cunningham. Thank you for taking this step to help in these tough times. The time that you selected for this conflicts with the Wednesday evening womens' AWE meetings and mens' Bible study meetings. How about Thursday evenings at 6:30?
